Cantine Il Crinale

Among all the DOC wines of the Marches we start from the territory of Ancona with Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi, which is the celebrated expression of the regional oenology. It is gilt white with green reflections and it is characterized by fruty, floral and herby scent. It is so good with fish and little mature cheese. We continue with Lacrima di Morro d'Alba which is made in a little area between Senigallia and Jesi. It has an intensive red and heady scent of strawberry and red fruits. Rosso Conero is very elegant in its reserve-version; it is prone to garnet and with a fragrance of mature cherry.

In the Pesaro area there are Colli Pesaresi (red and white) and Bianchello del Metauro which are very agreeable and good together with various dishes: they are tasty, lively and fresh.

Finally we have three DOC wines of the Macerata area: Esino which is white and red and it is agreeable to drink young, Verdicchio di Matelica which is produced in a very particular area of the Marches, an ex salt basin near Apennine Mountains; and white Colli Maceratesi, with fresh and delicate fragrances, which is perfect together with the most famous salami of this area, called "ciauscolo". Vernaccia di Serrapetrona, a DOCG, ends this series of wines: a natural red sparkling wine which is unique and heady which is born from the ancient vineyard of black Vernaccia (85%) and from a particular process of three fermentations.
